"Definitely want to give a shout out to Dr. Nowlin. We are very thankful for his patience! He went the extra mile and me & my daughters greatly appreciate that!! At the end of there treatments one, was possible going to end up with a gap and the other with possible bonding and/or crowns. I personally have a lot of bonding myself, and I do not care for it because of the upkeep. We were not satisfied with that idea, so Dr. Nowlin kept at it. It took several extra months, for both of them…but we ended up with no bonding, no gap and beautiful smiles!! I have my third and final child in braces with Dr. Nowlin now☺️Thank you for listening to our request and going the extra mile!! We can’t tell you how much we appreciate that!!"

"My teeth have been in some serious need of help. It was to a point that my right jaw started popping every time I’d open my mouth. When Dr. Nowlin checked it, it was actually both my jaws popping. 🙈It’s been 5 months since I got Invisalign aligners.I was very suspicious that they would work with my teeth. The jaw pop stopped after 1 week of wearing the aligners.Now 5 months later can see such a big improvement with my teeth. "Best experience I have had with an orthodontist. Dr Nowlin listens to his patients and can explain everything in detail. He takes his time with each patient to make them feel comfortable and makes sure when you leave his office that you understand what the issues are, how they will fix those issues and next steps. His team also does the same during appointments. They are friendly, warm and inviting. Very empathetic people. Going to get braces is not a fun experience and can make you harbor a lot of anxiety. This Doctor and his team makes it the best experience.This is the second orthodontist I have been to in 5 years and I can tell you the first one I had been to did not treat any of his patients like people. Would barely acknowledge you and would openly talk to his staff in front of you, but not actually explain anything he had said - to you. I also got the feeling he had no clue how to treat my case as he invited a colleague to take a look and they both seemed to not have any confidence or excitement between the two of them. Major red flags to me.Versus when I met Dr Nowlin and his team - everyone was confident. I understand my situation is difficult, but I saw some excitement towards my case. That is a green flag in book when it comes to medical professionals. You always want a doctor who is passionate about the work they do. "We have been patients at Nowlin for years. Before he ever started treatment Dr. Nowlin evaluated and monitored our son (not charging us a dime) waiting until the time was right for orthodontics. We never felt rushed into treatment.Two of our boys are 100% done and have gorgeous smiles thanks to braces.Our youngest is currently in his second planned round of treatment. The first was a set of braces at 9 years old to position his teeth for his current treatment. He’s is now in Invisalign. He started with severe under and cross-bites, and although he is only in his 14th of 52 aligners, we can already see a drastic improvement! "To say this place is incredible is an understatement. My daughter got her braces through them and they've been exceptional the whole way through. When she got them off in the spring she got retainers and she lost one and recently learned she has a tumor and has to go to st Jude's and we had to get one retainer replaced and they didn't charge me for the replacement. I cannot thank you enough from this father how much that meant and helped at this trying time. "I'm 45 years old, and my dentist informed me three weeks ago that my top teeth and bottom teeth were in a war, and my bottom teeth were losing. If I didn't do something soon, I would be forced to either get dental implants or eat apple sauce and yogurt the rest of my life. I was torn. I hate going to the dentist, but neither of those options sounded appealing, so I asked for a referral. She sent me to Dr. Nowlin.Then I did some research. I looked at everything... braces, Invisalign, and even knock off products that said they were as effective as braces. I looked at cost vs. benefits and realized that I would rather spend a little now, in order to not have to spend a LOT later. Do you have any idea how much dental implants are????As an adult walking into an orthodontist, I can tell you firsthand, that it can be a bit intimidating. First of all, most of the other patients can't vote, buy beer, or even drive themselves to the office. Most of them aren't even paying for their own dental procedures!When I walked into Dr. Nowlin's office I felt slightly out of place. There are pictures of non-voting youngsters all over the place! But, then I also saw some pictures of people who were a bit older, and their smiles looked amazing! You can tell this is an office that takes a lot of pride in what they do, and they do it well! How many businesses really do things well anymore, am I right?I sat down for my initial consultation with Stacey Sears, the Treatment Coordinator, and I could not have had a more pleasant experience. (She is UH-MAZING!) She explained the process, took a ton of pictures of my mouth from what seemed to be 100 different angles, and then introduced me to Dr. Nowlin.He explained to me why my jaw has popped for years, and how he planned to fix my teeth so that I could continue to be a meat eating, carnivore, the way God intended. They have fit me in on short notice for wire cuts. I just had my second appointment to change my wires and the tech was able to answer all my questions in detail in terms i could understand and she was very nice. The dental assistants are caring and ensue that you’re comfortable with your treatment. The Bixby office has a bright and cheerful environment- the classic arcade games are a major draw for my son. He would insist on accompanying his older sister on her orthodontist appointments and now that it’s it’s his turn to get braces, he insists that we arrive for every appointment half an hour early 😆."

"Dr. Nowlin and his staff are absolutely fantastic. As a pediatric resident physician, my biggest concern after finding out that I would need braces and double jaw surgery whether I would be able to schedule all my appointments around my very busy work schedule so that my total length of treatment could be as short as possible. From scheduled appointments to unexpected appointments (eg, to get wires cut, fix broken brackets, etc), they were always very accommodating in any way possible. Braces (especially as an adult) can definitely be an unpleasant experience but Dr. Nowlin's and his team did a great job making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with orthodontic needs."
"Fantastic experience! My daughter had a massive overbite and a narrow palate. Dr Nowlin recommended early intervention. 2 phrases on braces and she had a totally different profile! She's so happy with how her smile looks. Fixing her alignment also resolved her snoring. "We met with 5 different braces providers before we went with Nowlin Orthodontics. They were exceptional! They made our decision so easy even though they are an 1:45 minutes one way from our home. Even with generous insurance coverage for orthodontic; as a single mother, I needed a generous payment plan and the office worked with me to make it affordable.Everyone was friendly, firm when needed (both in instructions to brush and in adjusting wires/brackets), and gentle when possible. (We were tough cases - so gentle wasn't always an option - but the apologies were always at the ready.)We were more the cause of delays to the schedule (traffic or more complicated than planned for) than impacted by office delays."
