Braces
Orthodontics has changed significantly over the past few years and Nowlin Orthodontics have been at the forefront of these changes, utilizing the latest brackets and bracket systems to create beautiful smiles for adults and children. We offer a choice of metal or clear braces to our patients.
Invisalign®
Traditional braces had been the only options for straight teeth for decades. Invisalign offers the first alternative to metal braces for teens and adults, alike. Invisalign’s clear, removable aligners make straightening your teeth easier and less noticeable than ever before. Another advantage to wearing aligners is that they can be removed. An aligner is only supposed to be worn for 22 hours a day. Patients find it a convenient way to continue eating their favorite foods and caring for their teeth while receiving an orthodontics treatment. As a result, there is a decreased risk of staining or damaging aligners as compared with traditional braces. The drawback is that they can be more expensive, and they are easy to lose by accidentally throwing them away. At Nowlin Orthodontics we recommend that patients keep them in a special case so that they cannot be accidentally lost in the garbage, they are clear after all.
Digital Imaging
Successful orthodontic treatment depends on an accurate diagnosis. Our enhanced X-ray images offer increased accuracy and a limited amount of radiation. In addition, digital photos show you any alignment problems to help you better understand your treatment plan.
